His textural, experimental style explores new forms of visual and narrative storytelling, always grounded in human experience. His work has received international recognition, including wins and nominations at Academy Qualifying Film Festivals such as Clermont Ferrand, Leeds IFF, Manchester IFF and Tirana IFF for his short film MOEDER, as well as selections for the Saatchi & Saatchi and 1.4 New Directors Showcases. His work has earned two Golds and three Silvers at the YDAs, a Gold Cannes Lion, multiple AICP awards with work featured at MoMA, UKMVA wins for Best Editing and Best Colour Grading, and further recognition from Cannes, D&AD and the British Arrows. His body of work includes short films such as ROCKET WARS and MOEDER, alongside commercials for Apple, Puma, Adidas and Mercedes, and music videos for artists including Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Little Simz, Skrillex and Prince. Now based in New York City with his young family, Salomon is developing his debut feature FOREIGN ANIMALS and writing his second, ICONOCLAST.
